For a change

I have a border surrounding a small pond that is a joy to me every Spring because of the daffodils, muscari, snowdrops and fritillary that fill it with colour, then the irises come into their own and the whole thing is presided over by Cotinus Grace but the bulb area was always a bit of a problem – once the foliage had died down there was nothing to see! So this year I planted it up after the bulbs had gone over – the Achillea ‘Paprika’ has developed nicely but the rest came from plugs given to me by my kind sister Elizabeth.

This border has never been so colourful before so I’m a happy camper!
